Happy August, friends! 

How's your summer going? Can you believe it's almost over!? Kinda a bummer if you ask me... We have been so busy shooting, playing, traveling, and enjoying the world! We are so lucky to have been able to travel so much this summer and capture some rad images! We just got home from Michigan where I (Sarah) am from. Each summer we go back to see the fam, play on the lake and just enjoy the good ol' mid-west.  This next wedding was shot in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan. I LOVE shooting weddings in Michigan. There is nothing like a fabulous Michigan summer. This wedding happened to fall on the week we were going home to Michigan, so it worked out PERFECT!! woohoo!

Meet Matt and Erin.

My parents are actually friends with Matt's parents from back in the day, so it was fun seeing people who have been in my life before. We had never met the couple, only on skype, so it was fun getting to know their personalities and their relationship. We loved them! Erin and Matt are both incredibly nice and loving people, not to mention they are very, VERY smart ;) Their love for family and God really showed on this amazing day as well. It was a BLAST!! 

The clouds were epic and we were are thrilled with these images we were able to capture. Erin is such a beauty!!

Hey!

Hope everyone is having a fabulous summer. We sure are! We just got home from being away in Europe for the last 2 weeks and it was AMAZING!! We will post a blog from that next. We went to Italy and France on trains, planes and so many automobiles.  I do have to say, after traveling for days we are happy to be back in the USA baby!

I couldn't eat anymore pasta if I tried.... or pizza... 

This next wedding is one we shot the day before we left for our big trip. 

Meet Matt and Christina.

Matt and Christina are an adorable, loving couple who are so very lovely to be around.  We met them a few months back ago at a bridal show in San Diego and after a few hang sessions with them, we felt a connection and they booked us for their big day! The wedding was held at Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego. What a gorgeous location!! I can't imagine a better place. Overlooking the beautiful ocean, they said their vows and started their lives together. Then we went to Liberty Station for the crazy dance party and awesome celebration! 

Matt and Christina, we are soooo blessed to have been able to capture this day and your love. You are both so lovely and your love is inspiring to us. You sure are a cute couple! Hope you enjoy your vacation and this sneak peak!!

engagement: megan | drew

This next sneak peak is of an Engagement session we did with our new friends Megan and Drew.

We met them at one of the most beautiful spots in San Diego, Torrey Pines State Park.  The sunset was stunning! Not as stunning as the two of them though... Babes! These two are getting married in October and we had such a great connection with them, not to mention they are the cutest couple ever!!!!!! Megan is so sweet and pretty and Drew is very down to earth, and such a rad guy.  They share our love for good laughs, lots of adventures and good wine. :) This session was on a day that was right in between both of their birthdays so it was fun to help them celebrate. We can't wait for the wedding and for more great times with these two.

brandi | jason

This is Brandi and Jason. 

They are the cutest. They are also already marrie, and they are insanely in love!! They were married in August of 2011, but it seriously seemed like they just got engaged. I love it.

We had the best time at this session for a few reasons. These two are super fun and we have a great connection. Also they are very good lookin' and easy on the eyes!  Plus, they just love what we do and make it so fun and easy to capture their love. It was different because this wasn't an engagement session or a wedding. Brandi and I have been chatting and so excited about this session for weeks! We found this rad area in Carlsbad with a beautiful field and barn. Brandi is so pretty and wore the most gorgeous blue dress. Jason is full of laughs and looked dapper in his suit. Such babes!!!

Thank you guys for loving what we do and for having us take some beautiful photos for you! I can't wait to show you the rest! It's always such a blessing to meet great couples who really love each other and appreciate this art.
