Well, heeelllllooo! Hope everyone had an awesome weekend! We sure did. An awesome wedding took place on Saturday in Vista and we had the glorious pleasure and honor being there to capture it all. We'll be blogging that later in the week. On Sunday we were a part of The Bridal Bazaar in Del Mar. It was our first time being a part of a show that big. We were on a waiting list for like 2 years to get into that thing! So when they hit us up and said we were invited we said "hey, why not!?" Although bridal shows can be pretty overwhelming for most people (including us) we were able to meet a ton of cool couples who braved the crowds and came to have a look.

We thought it would be cool to do something special and have a little contest for the people who stopped by. So we snapped some polaroids and started a craze! Each girl who had their photo taken will be entered into a contest to win FREE WEDDING COVERAGE from yours truly. Their photos will be posted on Instagram throughout the week and the girl who gets the most "likes" will win! Pretty simple, right? So follow @shirockphotos and join in on the fun! - duane + sarah

Hi friends.
Hope you are having a fabulous month of October and enjoying the fall! It's finally beginning to get a little cooler here in San Diego and I am very excited about going home to Michigan for Thanksgiving!! I want to see some color people!! How is everyone?
What are you being for Halloween? I am struggling to think of an epic costume this year... any ideas? Enough about this, meet Samantha and Greg.

Samantha and Greg are super rad people. They love life and really enjoy living it together. Their love is real and it is very evident. They both share a passion for music which is why getting married at The Hard Rock Hotel in San Diego was the perfect place for them to tie the knot! What a super sweet place that is! We could have played and done a million photos there all night long. I love all the colors and history of that hotel. It has such a rad feel to it, which fits these two so well. We had a blast with them a while back for their E-sesh, and then even more at their wedding!
Samantha and Greg are full of laughter, fun and genuine love for others and each other. Samantha also has a huge passion for animals and Greg is in the military; we are so thankful for his service. 
Sam and Greg, we are so glad to know you both. Congrats on your wedding, and congrats on the beginning of your new life together. I know we will be seeing you again soon!

wedding: kristen + kyle

Hey guys!

We seriously love our life... we are SO blessed!! After a long but amazing month of September, our lives have calmed down a bit and we can really begin to enjoy fall!! My favorite season of the year! It makes me miss the Midwest where I (Sarah) am from. I can't stop eating pumpkin soup. Oh man, it's incredible. The weather is getting cooler and I am so excited to bust out my boots and cute scarves! 

Oh ya, and our Grand Opening went amazing!! Thank you all for coming to our party and helping us celebrate all the wonderful memories we have made together! We love you all.

Anyways, enough about us...

Meet Kristen and Kyle.

They are two amazing people! We have gotten to know them a little and we want to know them A LOT!! We had drinks with them back when we did their engagement sesh and just had the BEST time. We really feel like we connect with these two and could chill with them all the time, like besties!

This wedding was so unique and inspiring. They were married at their close friend's gorgeous house in Riverside, Ca. Kristen remembers playing there for many years as a child and it was important to her to get married at this house. It was amazing! It reminded me of colonial times and the fall. I loved exploring around the venue and yard and playing with this gorgeous couple! It was difficult to choose the images for the sneak peak because these two looked insane the entire day! They are SO in love and have the most beautiful families. Kyle is the coolest and most down to earth guy and is always smiling. He is so sweet! Kristen is gorgeous. Her eyes look almost yellow! She is always ready for fun and laughter too. She has an amazing personality and we could not get enough!

K + K, we love you guys!! Congrats on your new life!! You are some of the coolest people and we can't wait to hang out more with you guys!!
